Aside from the comprehensive annual reports and O/E ratios provided by the ACS NSQIP, QCMetrix has developed a series of real-time online reports. Using these reports, a participating medical center can monitor its performance across any date range and benchmark its results and its patients’ risk factors against national averages.

These reports are available at any time to authorized users of the ACS NSQIP.org website designed and developed by QCMetrix.

• Mortality Report – presents all deaths within 30 days in a given date range that have been entered into the website.
• Morbidity Report – displays all intraoperative and postoperative occurrences in a given date range that have been entered into the Web site.
• 8-Day Cycle Report – allows a participating ACS NSQIP medical center to see their own 8-day cycle breakdown and how they are progressing overall.
• Accrual Report – enables a site to get an overall picture of the number of cases entered and transmitted and the variance between actual and expected.
• Occurrence Report – offers a monthly breakdown of complications for each site.
• Wound Classification Report – provides a summary breakdown of all wound classes for the specified date range. To see an example of this report, click here.
• CPT Codes Report – displays the top 10 CPT codes per subspecialty for a specified date range.
• Length of Stay Report – shows the principal procedures with the longest lengths of stay within a specified date range.
• Postop Occurrence Summary – gives a comprehensive view of a site's occurrences versus the total ACS NSQIP program's occurrences. Graphical trending of occurrences and drill down ability are also offered. To see an example of this report, click here.
• Preop Risk Factor Summary – presents a comprehensive view of a site's risk factors versus the total ACS NSQIP program's preop risk factors. Drill down capability for risk factors is also offered.
