QCManager

Early participants in the ACS NSQIP program have voiced a need for further use of the program-specific data they collect. Whether for writing outbound letters, patient follow-up or ongoing analysis, medical centers have found that once they’ve shipped their data off to the ACS NSQIP, the repurposing of that data, because of HIPAA constraints, is often not possible.

QCManager (“The Nurse’s Workstation”) addresses that need. It is a productivity tool allowing a clinical provider the means to coordinate the data collection process with the management of ACS NSQIP data—fully within the guidelines of HIPAA.

Along with full data entry capabilities, QCManager offers a suite of enhanced functionalities, including case tracking, automated 30-day follow-ups, and patient death searches. In addition, QCManager allows the integration and display of non-HIPAA-compliant data such as patient name and date of birth by using a local data store that resides within the confines of the hospital’s internal network.

QCManager also offers an extended set of site-specific standard reports. By providing a centralized console, QCManager increases the clinical provider’s productivity by streamlining the gathering, organization and practical use of ACS NSQIP data.
